Together with beeswax processor Koster Keunen, Fair Match Support is strengthening the beeswax value chain in Burkina Faso and Nigeria. Beekeepers receive training, equipment and access to stable markets. The chain is built on fair sourcing principles – with attention to fair trade relations, quality and ecological balance. Higher quality and volumes provide farmers with better income. At the same time, the growth of the bee population contributes to crop pollination in the region. The collaboration links economic opportunities with environmental benefits and shows how a niche product can create significant local value.
